During the Covid 19 shelter in place order, the confines of my tiny back yard with its one bottlebrush tree , and a couple hummingbird feeders became my classroom, my creative outlet. My self assignment is to try to get a half way decent photo of a hummingbird every week. Observing tiny bodies is challenging, fun, and is a great distraction in these unprecedented strange times. What can I learn from these tenacious tiny creatures? For starters, resilience, joy, and embracing your passions.
